This product is unsatisfactory when it comes to shaving curly pubic hair. It does the job however, with straightened or crimped pubic hair.

I wanted to write this especially for those people who already own one of these devices. I am currently working on my second shaver as I thought the first one was broken when, after about a week, it got horribly loud. When I got my second one, it did... Somewhere along the way Norelco tried to improve things and made things worse (cord, "On" button, very loud). OK as a razor with a vacuum.

I have had a Norelco Maverick 3000 for about 6 years prior to this one, and would have kept the old one except the battery didn't hold charge anymore, so I decided to go with another Norelco and bought the T970. I must say that I did expect a... For the price, I would have expected a lot better from Norelco. Go with a German-made BRAUN, that's what I will do next time around.
